Senad Alić

Senad Alić, Sajma’s husband, was born on 11 July 1962 in Zenica. He graduated from the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Zenica in 1988 and immediately joined the then Željezara Zenica (later ArcelorMittal Zenica), where he spent his entire career. He earned his master’s degree in 2002 and defended his doctoral dissertation on the maintenance of process fans in 2015. He was an assistant professor (docent) and a longtime collaborator at the Department of Maintenance of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, University of Zenica, where his main field was the design of technical maintenance systems. He died on 1 February 2023 at the age of 61.
